Fiber cement shingles effectively simulate the look of wood while providing the durability of cement. Fiber cement shingles, which can be sourced through one of our manufacturing associates, are machine coated at our facility using Cabot’s proven Factory Finish© process and are available in two finishes—C3 WoodTones or C3 Solid Colors.
C3 WoodTones offers the most realistic wood-like look for cement shingles on the market today, and its long-lasting, water-based formulation protects the substrate from early moisture and U.V. damage. C3 Solid Colors provides a rich, opaque color with a 100% acrylic resin, which protects the cement shingle against premature fading and is guaranteed to last up to 40 years.

Fraser Wood Siding uses Cabot’s© C3 cement coating for fiber cement shingles. Whether you choose the C3WoodTones or C3 Solid Colors finish, your shingles will not crack, peel, blister, discolor or yellow with age.

Fiber cement shingles are coated in our plant using the “Flow-Thru©” process. All six sides of the shingle are coated to ensure the maximum protection from nature’s elements.The result is an exceptionally fade-resistant and washable finish.

Fraser Wood Siding is proud to offer Cabot’s 25-year extendible warranty on fiber cement shingles that we factory finish with two coats of C3 Solid Colors. Shingles stained with two coats of Cabot’s C3WoodTones carry a 12-year extendible warranty. Your Cabot warranty can be extended by re-coating your shingles with Cabot’s The Finish with Teflon Surface Protector before the end of the original warranty period.
